I stood in 3 wrong lines and finally made it in to see the judge a 1130am.

He was nice, probably the nicest most personable judge i have stood in front of. He gave me a fine, a not too small to sneeze at $568, and i have till 12/11 to pay it.

My boss was much more understanding that i gave her credit for being. And all is back to normal.

My super wonderful bf, was instrumental in me not loosing my mind. He gave me sound advise, "you can't control this, just go with it till you have a choice"

I am at the San Fernando court house. I didn't remember I was supposed to be here till I was already working at my office.

I left the office in a rush and grabbed the metro here. My boss is not happy and I can already hear the scolding waiting for me when I get back.

It is a stressful time. So close to everything being back to normal, yet it feels as if a wrong move could set me back greatly.

I did something crazy today. I posted my offline journal entries to my blog.

It felt cleansing. I am done with the over filtering, I always say I
mean what I say and say what I means, but what I leave out is that I
also mean what I don't say.

Life feels new. It is in large part cause of the DUI slowly moving
into the background, and in part cause I met a great guy that is
perhaps the most honest person I have met.

Whatever the reason, I will strive not only for honesty but for
transparency hereon.

Today i must: Go for my run, clean my apt, and cooked something for dinner.

I can always tell when i am not feeling 100% cause my apartment falls
into disrepair. My ADD kicks into high gear and i go from shiny thing
to shiny thing to distract myself from what is really bothering me.

I have no idea what is bugging me, but i can tell the signs are there,
so i must work extra hard to fall back into a semblance of a routine.
Otherwise i will spin out again, and i can't afford to do that now.

Every single time i feel like this, the one thing i miss moss is being
able to kick back with my brothers.

After a very productive friday and a very fun weekend work started off well.

I had a little conflict with Susan about an assigment given to me by
Alan to delegate that she felt should have stayed with me. It is
another instance of something that needs to be taken care of, but i
can't really verbalize properly right now due to the anxiety that is
brought upon by the situation.

I took a late lunch and feel better now. Back to work i go to keep
this productive roll going.

Not sure why I haven't been writing. Seems like I tend to write more
when things are not as sunny.

Life is good, except for the gps anklet.

Waiting for my conference call to get started. Angry, but i am back
on my diet and i am going to stick with it. Gotta loose some more
weight before the summer is here.

Sad that i have so little money. Have asked doug for help, not sure
if he can do it.

I am not sure why i didn't tell him that i lent the car to Javier. I
guess i just felt bad that i told him no to borrowing the car and then
i had already lent it out to Javier. Doug borrowing my car though
would be him taking over my car.

Had a very nice weekend.

My new phone line was installed on friday; i now have a landline!
Number is 1-818-579-4001. I am getting a phone for it from the
office.

I cooked mole for dinner with michel on saturday. It was delicious.
THen i took salicious photos of michel. I did find out he is sleeping
with a woman. That bothered me, but not as much as it would a couple
of months ago. It is what it is, and nothing more will come of it.

Sunday i had a very nice morning. I read, listened to music, drank
too much coffee and relaxed with Max. Javier made it to my place
around 5pm and we saw Hanah, very good movie.

I am happy to say that Javier does not hold any animosity for the
events of January. I will ask him for a second date when i see him
next and hopefully he will say yes.

Funny as much as I like to post and check in a share online. A
personal journal still carries a therapeutic effect.

I always wondered, if perhaps I simply filter too much. If at the end
of the day what I am missing is just unfiltered interaction.

I miss Peter, micheal, doug, and roger. All of them allowed me to just
be myself without judgement.

When I was little, I would lie when people would ask me what I wanted
to be when I grew up. It seemed they had already made up their minds
for me.

WOrk has been slow today. Thomas called in sick and dani went home
early. I woke up with a cold. It has been medicated into submission,

CHris, Tim and Issaac are coming over tonight. Technically it is
supposed to be chance for Rene and Chris to meet Matt. Unfortunately i
suspect Matt will flake, which would be a horrible first impression.

I downloaded this application, becaus its main proposition,
distraction free wrtting spoke to me. I have a tendency to get
distracted by the new and the shiny, and fail to develop habits around
those tools cause there is always somethng new and shiny around the
corner.

We should see if its stripped to its essentials i can get into the
habit of writting.

Today was a good day. I went to visit my INS social worker, and sign
new dcouments. I have a court Hearing on 4/22. I have been worring
nonstop about the pending deportation. It is encouraging to have both
her and my attorney appear so positive about hte situation.

I also found out today that i can have my anklet removed by next week.
She dropped the requirment for a passport and only needs a landline
to take it off. I rushed to work an dordered my landline from time
warner, installation i next monday, at worse next Tuesday. It will be
nice to not have this constant reminder hanging from my ankle. Not to
mention being able to wear shorts and/or go swimmming.

Gotta get back to work. I am working till 2pm and then heading home
for my surprise visit. I bet the surprise is that once again they
don't show up.

Procrastination via overplanning

Today I am trying a new approach to planning. Avoiding over-planning.

I am a procrastinator. I have been working on it and i have gotten a lot better. One of the habits i am working to rid myself of is: Over-planning. Sometimes i get lost in the planning, or the planning tools and it pushes out the actual work.

Today i will start to reverse that. Simple tools and much actual work is my motto for the day.

"everything I need I hold within me"

I have been dancing around this for awhile. It felt incomplete, cause I need people, and my cat. Today I realized it is not self exclusive.

I have everything I need within me. Most important of all I hold the love and respect for my family and friends within me. This is most important of all else.

My parents gave me the gift of knowledge acquisition. The skills to teach myself.

They also gave me love and best of all my wonderful brothers. Who are always with me, they are my conscience. I hear them speak to me even when they are so far away.

My friends who have become my family through their unwavering support. Who give me the sense of safety and support I need to make challenging decisions are also within me.

It is new but very important. Michael, is a new type of cat. I love him, I miss him, but what I like most of all is that he is a whole separate complete human being. He is not a half of anything.

I know we can both be whole apart, and that makes what we have specialer ( :-) ), it is our choice, it may feel so strong as to feel needful, but it is all ours cause we choose it.

And thus I rambled.

After a whole lot of complaining about the early summer and the cold it brought we are now suffering a hot and humid weather that is more tropical than Californian.

Max is not happy with it at all, but he is holding up well. I have taken to leaving the AC running at 78 for him.

He is back to wet food and he is doing well on them. Although his stomach has became unstable as of the last 24 hours, that may be the heat though.

Work is well, it is nice to not be rushing to catch up, i am even working on some side projects that had been lingering for a bit.

Tonight is my DUI exit interview, and then i recover my tuesdays.

Sometimes a regular 2 day weekend feels like a long holiday weekend. :-D

It was a great weekend! Friday was a little impromptu party at my house, i made jicama salad, and pico de gallo, cj brought pulled pork and cole slaw. Wendy, alex, doug and mike showed up. Michael was not able to join us till later in the evening, but although he missed the party, i was glad to have him all to myself.

Saturday was a pool party in the afternoon. and the Sunday was my favorite, Michael and I stayed in the whole day and watched movies.

I can't remember being this comfortable with anyone that was not related to me by blood before. It just feels natural to hang with him. I like it a lot.

On unrelated news, today is the 6th day since i had alcohol. It is not only refreshing to know i can do it, but also that i can enjoy myself in social situations while in full control of my abilities.

I still have to figure out what i was using the alcohol to accomplish, but i do know i don't need it for that anymore.

Working till i burn out

This week has proven to be one of the most productive in recent memory. I have been kicking ass at work! Like really kicking ass.

Yesterday i also started on cleaning my apartment, which turned into house-clearing. I cleaned both my closets and my work table.

Tonight i gotta spruce up the kitchen and clean the floors, i have people coming over and i want to make sure the place is respectable.

Having the place to myself again has given me a new impetus to make lasting change. The fact that i finished my DUI classes, and only have the interview to go to has also enhanced this feeling of completion.

My next goal is to re-establish a routine. I would like to feel like my life is in order once again. Sometimes too much partying and going out is merely a distraction, a way to enable my procrastination to avoid making the changes i both need and want.

After a long and enjoyable weekend I am back at work.

I came back to an email from my boss requesting full focus on work issues (no web browsing at all). Although the email was not directed at me I will take it to heart.

There really is too much work, and pulling my weight will simply not be enough. Today I spent every on the clock minute fully vested on work and yet I still walked away with tons left undone.

Since I am almost done with my DUI classes next week I will be able to work overtime again. I plan on making full use of my workday and then if possible put in overtime as well.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Everything else in my life is going so well if I concentrate and put this behind me I will be golden.

I took some time today during my lunch to upload my photos from the last two weeks. They have been very eventful, between finding me a great boyfriend, and a going on a vacation i planned what feels like years ago, i have been busy.

The photos may not tell a cohesive story, but believe me when i say it hasn't been very cohesive lately. Things are settling down on a very pleasant place though. I am happy and it has been a long long time, since i have felt such simple, uncomplicated, happiness.

Got woken up at 3am by work. They kept calling till 430am, and i
couldn't fall back asleep after that.

I am now ready for work and i'll be heading out shortly. It should
be a quiet day.

I wrapped about half the presents, I will finish the rest tomorrow evening.

Dougie and Abe just took off to pick up some dinner. We'll be staying up a little bit later than we really should.

My dad's idea of a road trip to Mexico with a round trip to LA has me worried. It may be time to deal with issues that i have avoided far too long.

Doug went to storage to get the wrapping paper and boxes. I am using
the time to sort thru my tv show library. Since we got the new hard
drive I can now properly consolidate.

Doug called to let me know we are having lunch at his grandpa's fave

But we finished shopping! We also found some beautiful Kosta Boda
glasses that I couldn't help but buy for ourselves.

Tomorrow we are going to the movies with doug's parents and then
wrapping presents.
